The Overcasting Almanac is an interactive, collaborative publication invested in the social construction of climate related data visualization.
Each issue includes an assemblage of forecasts, visualizations, tweets, and activities exploring a variety of approaches to knowledge production and future prediction.
The project is the central effort in my thesis investigation into dynamic coding notebooks as mediums for designed artifacts. It is developed and published on Observable Notebooks, and as such, is best experience there. Issues can be accessed with the links below.
Each issue of the almanac exists as a fork of the previous issue, creating a tree of forked notebooks that form a tree representing the publication as a whole.
